Annabelle Cella, M.Ed., BCBA, LBA
Welcome to One Step ABA!

I’m Annabelle, the founder and head BCBA at One Step, and I’m thrilled to share a bit about our journey and what sets us apart.

I graduated from Vanderbilt University with my undergraduate degree in Child Development and continued my studies at UT Austin, where I earned my Master’s in Special Education: Autism and Developmental Disabilities. My educational background has provided me with a solid foundation in behavioral science, which I’ve been fortunate to apply in various settings over the years.

.After completing my clinical training and working for several years in Austin as a practicing BCBA, I returned to my hometown of St. Louis. Upon returning, I recognized a significant need for high-quality ABA services in the community. Driven by a commitment to making a difference, I established this clinic to fill that gap and offer exceptional support to families in the area.

One Step ABA specializes in working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and I take pride in offering direct therapy myself. This hands-on approach is something that sets us apart from many other ABA clinics. I believe that providing personalized, direct therapy allows me to build meaningful relationships with each client and tailor our interventions to meet their unique needs.

At our clinic, we are dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based therapy that is as effective as it is personalized. We understand that every child is unique, and we are committed to working closely with families to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Thank you for considering us as your partner in your child’s journey. If you have any questions or would like to learn more about how we can support your family, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Our Services
Direct ABA Therapy
We offer clinic-based direct therapy for kids ages 2-6 years old. We utilize both Natural Environment Teaching and Direct Trial Training to create ample learning opportunities while keeping sessions play-based and child-led. We also specialize in toilet training, feeding programs, and desensitization programs.
Parent Training
Empowering parents is an integral part of our approach. We provide comprehensive training to equip parents with effective strategies to support their child's progress and well-being.
Behavior Management
We use reinforcement-based interventions to decrease problem behaviors while simultaneously teaching replacement behaviors through functional communication training. We always utilize functional behavior assessments to determine the motivating factors behind a child's maladaptive behaviors.
